What are the requirements?

To open a chapter, you need to meet certain criteria, including having a dedicated team, a plan for fundraising, and a commitment to our mission.

How long does it take?

The time it takes to open a chapter can vary depending on various factors, including the completeness of your application and the availability of our team. We strive to process applications as quickly as possible.

Is there any financial support?

While we do not provide direct financial support, we offer guidance and resources to help chapters with their fundraising efforts.

Can I start a chapter alone?

We recommend having a dedicated team to start a chapter, as it requires collaboration and shared responsibilities. However, if you are passionate and committed, we can discuss potential options.

What is the Mission:Brain Asia Summit 2025?

It’s a three-day virtual event (October 3–5, 2025, UTC) bringing together neurosurgeons, residents, researchers, and students from across Asia and beyond to collaborate, innovate, and educate.

Who can attend the summit?

The summit is open to medical students, residents, fellows, neurosurgeons, and researchers with an interest in neurosurgery and global health.

How do I register?

You can register by filling out the official registration form.

Is there a registration fee?

No. The summit is completely free, in line with our mission to make neurosurgical education accessible worldwide.

⁠What sessions are included?

The program includes:

- Day 1 (Oct 3, 2:00–5:00 PM UTC): Opening Ceremony, Keynotes, Team Quiz Round 1

- Day 2 (Oct 4, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM UTC): Guest Speaker Panel, Quiz Semifinals, Workshops, Residency Q&A, Advocacy Training

- Day 3 (Oct 5, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM UTC): Leaders’ Panel, Women in Neurosurgery, Mind Matrix Pitching Competition, Rapid Round, Quiz Grand Finale, Closing Ceremony

Do I need to be a Mission:Brain chapter member to attend?

No. The summit is open to all, but Mission:Brain chapters are encouraged to participate and send teams.

⁠How can my chapter participate?

We request each chapter to send a team to join in activities like the Quiz Showdown and workshops as part of our global cooperation.

⁠Will certificates be provided?

Yes. All registered participants will receive an e-certificate of participation, and winners of competitions will receive special prizes.

How do I apply for the Mind Matrix Pitching Competition?

You can apply using the same registration form.

Selected candidates will pitch their ideas on October 5 before a panel of neurosurgical leaders, including Raahil Sha (Zeta Surgical) and Deborah Weidman (CraniUS) — Forbes 30 Under 30 innovators leading change in neurotechnology. Exciting prizes await the winners.
