Assistant Director of Global Communications
In this role, you will collaborate directly with our Director of Global Communications to support and enhance our global communication strategies, manage internal and external messaging, and promote our mission-driven initiatives.
🔹 What You’ll Do
- Develop, coordinate, and execute global communications plans and campaigns.
- Manage content creation and oversee social media platforms and website updates.
- Help oversee the social media platforms, ensuring engaging and consistent messaging.
- Support the Mission:BRAIN newsletter, including content coordination and distribution.
- Assist with the Mission:BRAIN podcast, including planning, scheduling, and promoting episodes.
- Serve as a liaison between various chapters, ensuring alignment and consistency in global communications.
- Support logistics and communications for major events such as webinars, global townhalls, and annual meetings.
- Track and analyze communication effectiveness, providing regular updates and recommendations.
🔹 Ideal Candidate
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Familiarity with social media management, website updates, and digital communication tools.
- Passionate about global health, humanitarian outreach, and mission-driven work.
- Able to commit consistent weekly hours to coordination and communication activities.
Global Outreach Associate
🔹 What You’ll Do
- Serve as a point of contact for designated student chapters around the world.
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and tracking quarterly reports from chapters.
- Help coordinate chapter onboarding, outreach campaigns, and special initiatives.
- Support logistics and communications for major events such as the Mission:BRAIN Global Townhall.
- Collaborate with international chapter leaders to ensure consistent engagement and alignment with our mission.
🔹 Ideal Candidate
- Highly organized, responsible, and responsive.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a passion for global health.
- Comfortable working with Google Drive, Forms, and spreadsheets.
- Able to commit a few hours each week to coordination and project support.
