On May 3, PAHS hosted a webinar teaching med students how to use LinkedIn for research, networking, and career-building success.

On 3rd may 2025, the mission:brain Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS) Chapter in collaboration with mission:brain MP SHAH Chapter successfully organized a highly practical and engaging webinar titled “Ease, Engage, Excel: Linkedin for Medicine” The session aimed to equip medical students and early-career doctors with the tools and strategies needed to effectively leverage LinkedIn for professional growth.

The webinar featured two dynamic speakers—Dr. Vikash Poudel and Mr. Saroj Dahal—who shared their personal journeys of using LinkedIn to access international research opportunities, build meaningful connections, and grow their professional presence. Their relatable experiences underscored the real-world power of LinkedIn in shaping career pathways for medical professionals in Nepal and beyond.

Structured over 60 minutes, the webinar included a keynote talk, profile optimization and strategic networking tips, and a Q&A segment. Attendees were guided through the essentials of creating a compelling LinkedIn profile, posting valuable content, and navigating the platform to find mentorship, collaborations, and job opportunities.The event also emphasized the importance of professional visibility in the digital age and how early engagement with platforms like LinkedIn can open doors to global medical communities and institutions.

Hosted via Zoom provided by mission:brain, the webinar was free of cost, with registration managed through a Google Form. A simple certificate of participation was provided to attendees. The total cost of organizing the webinar was minimal, covering digital logistics and promotional material.  Promotion was conducted via WhatsApp groups, and medical school networks. This webinar represents mission:brain PAHS Chapter’s continued commitment to empowering future healthcare professionals through relevant, skill-building educational initiatives.
