Mission

A chapter for trainees without a chapter

MB:Pathways connects medical and premedical trainees who do not have access to a local mission:BRAIN chapter to the same mentorship, research exposure, leadership opportunities, and service that chapter members receive, along with a direct line into the broader mission:BRAIN network of students, clinicians, and researchers working toward equitable neurosurgical care worldwide.

Why We Made MB:Pathways

Built for students who were being left out

"I want to be involved, but my school doesn't have a chapter."

MB:Pathways was built to close that gap. Building neurosurgical and neuroscience capacity starts long before anyone enters the operating room or research lab. Pathways gives motivated trainees a real place to learn, contribute, and grow, even when a campus chapter is not available.

01

The problem

Many students want to get involved with mission:BRAIN, but their school or hospital does not yet have an active chapter, leaving them without a clear way to participate.

02

The solution

MB:Pathways creates a structured regional chapter for exactly these students. No campus chapter required to get involved in mentorship, research, leadership, and service.

03

The result

Full access to the mission:BRAIN network, its mentors, researchers, and programs, from wherever you are starting, with a real chapter record behind you.
